Adjah Volunteer Project is proudly an initiative of Adjah Cancer Support Ghana, offering international volunteers the opportunity to engage in meaningful community programs in Ho, Volta Region, Ghana. By joining our programs, volunteers directly support cancer awareness, patient support, and community health initiatives, as well as broader community development activities.
Our Volunteer Programs
Group Volunteering Program
The Group Volunteering Program under the Adjah Volunteer Project is designed for organizations, institutions, and teams that want to make a meaningful impact together while experiencing Ghanaian culture and community life.
This program welcomes universities, colleges, corporate teams, NGOs, faith-based groups, and social clubs looking for a well-structured, safe, and impactful volunteering experience in Ghana.
Day-Care Volunteer
Help care for young children in local community centers. Volunteers assist with feeding, playtime, basic learning, and emotional support. Perfect for those who love children and want to contribute to early childhood development.
Teaching Volunteer
Support local schools by teaching English, Math, Science, or creative arts. No formal teaching experience is required—just a desire to share knowledge, inspire young minds, and uplift education in underserved communities.
Health Care in
Hospitals
Volunteers with medical or nursing backgrounds can shadow healthcare professionals, assist with non-invasive tasks, and support patient care in hospitals or clinics.
Volunteering in an Orphanage
Provide much-needed care and companionship to children living in orphanages. Volunteers help with daily routines, learning activities, and emotional support—making a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children.
Accommodation & Meals
Volunteers will
stay in a comfortable and secure volunteer house in Ho. The facility
includes shared rooms with western toilets, running water, electricity. You will receive two local home-cooked meals daily—breakfast
and dinner.
Free Time Activities
Ghana offers exciting travel opportunities—from visiting waterfalls and national parks to exploring markets and historic slave castles. Learn African drumming, try delicious local dishes, or join a cultural dance night. Volunteers often form strong bonds and explore together on weekends.
