About the Program

The Global Health Experience in Ghana is a structured, group-based service-learning program that combines healthcare exposure, community service, and cultural immersion.

Participants engage in a variety of initiatives, including:

  • Health awareness campaigns (cancer, nutrition, hygiene, maternal health)
  • Community education and outreach
  • Public health research and data collection
  • Volunteering in hospitals, clinics, and local health centers
