About the Program
The Global Health Experience in Ghana is a structured, group-based service-learning program that combines healthcare exposure, community service, and cultural immersion.
Participants engage in a variety of initiatives, including:
- Health awareness campaigns (cancer, nutrition, hygiene, maternal health)
- Community education and outreach
- Public health research and data collection
- Volunteering in hospitals, clinics, and local health centers
- Cultural exchange activities
This program provides students with practical skills and a deeper understanding of global health challenges.

1. Community Health & Education
- Organize health workshops for schools and communities
- Conduct awareness campaigns on nutrition, hygiene, and chronic disease prevention
2. Clinical Observation & Healthcare Exposure
- Observe healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics

Group-Based Experience
The program is primarily designed for university groups and student organizations:
- University study abroad groups

- Small private groups (5–20 participants)
Individual applicants may be placed in scheduled group cohorts.
