Our Volunteer Programs in Accra
We currently
offer the following volunteer opportunities in Accra, Ghana:
Day-Care Volunteer
Support
children aged 1–5 with learning, playtime, and basic care in local day-care
centers. Great for volunteers who love children and early childhood development.
Teaching Volunteer
Assist teachers
in under-resourced schools. You’ll help with English, Math, Science, or
creative subjects and inspire students to reach their potential.
Health Care Volunteer
Ideal for
medical or nursing students or professionals. Gain exposure in Ghanaian
hospitals or clinics by assisting with non-invasive tasks and observing medical
practices.
Orphanage Volunteer
Provide
companionship and care for children in orphanages. You’ll help with homework,
daily routines, emotional support, and playtime, becoming a stable presence in
their lives.
Program Fees & Inclusions
Our program
fees start at $300 for 1 week and include:
- Shared accommodation in our
volunteer house
- Two healthy local meals per day
(breakfast and dinner)
- Support from our local team
- Volunteer orientation and guidance
Note: Flights,
travel insurance, visa fees, lunch, and personal expenses are not included.
Work Schedule
Volunteers work
Monday to Friday, 4–5 hours per day. Weekends are free for you to
explore Ghana’s rich history, national parks, beaches, and local culture.
